Happy easter holidays

I made a new 3d-model of a cat-head. This is a head-base that can be used to build a puppet-, plushie-, robot- or even a fursuit-head. Fake fur can be glued on.

It’s free (for non-commercial use) at thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:303056

I do not sell these heads - print it yourself or find someone who can print it.

My fursuit Laru - he has moveable ears, eyelids and LED lights in the eyes.
I did not insert servo motors in this fursuit head. The ears and eyelids are controlled with 4 Bowden cables (bicycle brake cables). It works like an old camera remote control shutter cable. You can see how I made the head in my livejournal:Part 1: http://tioh.livejournal.com/72392.htmlPart 2: http://tioh.livejournal.com/72596.htmlPart 3: http://tioh.livejournal.com/73390.htmlPart 4: http://tioh.livejournal.com/73639.htmlPart 5: http://tioh.livejournal.com/73887.htmlPart 6: http://tioh.livejournal.com/74948.htmlPart 7: http://tioh.livejournal.com/75459.htmlPart 8: http://tioh.livejournal.com/76475.html

3d -printed fursuit head with animatronic ears and eyelids

I printed a bigger version of the head that I released on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:284415). This version is big enough to be worn as a costume. The eyelids are also 3d-printed. It took about 16 hours to print it in PLA.

All the movable parts are controlled by Bowden-cables (bicycle break-cables) - no electronic parts, just push and pull. Everything was glued together with Plaast (http://www.plaast.de/).

I do not sell these masks.

The eyes, lower jaw and teeth will be added later.
